The basic intend of this text is to understand, explain and explore the concepts, applications and tools of microeconomics in theories of demand and supply, production and its related laws, determination of price and output under various market structures, pricing of factors of production, introductory knowledge of simple general equilibrium model, and economic welfare.

The text  is based on the new syllabi of Microeconomics for four year programme in B.A first year as followed in Tribhuvan University. Most of the available texts use obsolete tools and techniques to provide the ideas of fundamental issues of microeconomics. This text is tried to explore the comprehensive concepts and theories of microeconomics as per the prescribed curriculum. Therefore, most of the students have taken up this piece of  text at bachelor level but these students faced various problems of binding good and comprehensive text to help and guide them in their studies. In this text, we make an attempt to fill the gap.
